I agree groovesmitty
I look at credits as a form of validation and maturity. There are sick drummers out there, who don't play with a band well.
The fact that some drummers are not easy to get along with and don't work for that reason is also a factor. Personality is important in music. I don't want to listen to assholes play the drums. HAHA.
I agree in the sense that resumes can say a lot...they are not the necessarily the ultimate definitive [but they sure can be close to it!]<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">LMA[H]OQuote:

As ol' buddy Neil Peart once told MD: There's plenty of jerks with talent.
I guess some play and post, even here. And like many among us I'm weary of it and will not stand by any more and keep silent. The gloves are off and it's open season on assholes. Next time I read some smarmy shit like: "No, man, you just don't get it . . ." is gonna cause me to break out some vocabulary.
Now did I fire five or six ripostes? In all the excitement I kinda lost count myself. So ask yourself, do you feel lucky, punk? Go ahead, make my day.
LMAOL!!!
Inversely, in my experience there are also enough great musicians [that is, a degree of] who also happen to be arsehauls...
They just haven't had their "Paul" experience yet. If anyone doesn't "get" that, just "put it on the shelf"...'tis no biggie...
Likewise, i've also met incredible musos who appear to be gentle, humble souls.
Maybe they always weren't, & are now, whatever. ALA they get there...
& quick...
If it ain't solving world economic, hunger, or disease; healing the blind, deaf, or "dumb;" or defending truth or your family or friends at a seriously deadly time, then it just ain't as important as you might think...notation paper often has more than one role/roll; one can wipe a lot of supposed importance off oneself w some rough staff paper... One if by land; two if by sea!
